Tourism Workshop and reception of Yukon Province, Canada were held in Beijing On the Nov 12th
2010, a tourism workshop and reception of Yukon Province, Canada were successfully held in Beijing
by Yukon Government and our company.
Afternoon: Tourism Workshop of Yukon Province, Canada
In order to boom the tourism industry of Yukon Province, we had firstly held a tourism workshop
introducing Yukon province since China and Canada signed the agreement on June 24th, 2010 for
tourist destination. Mr. Lin Danni, director of Commerce and Industry Development of Yukon Economic
Development Department and Mr. Long Weidong, director of Hainan province Tourism Development
Committee gave a speech on the workshop. Many travel agency representatives has attend this
workshop and show strong interests in Yukon tourism opportunity.
Evening: Yukon Night
The 6th year Yukon Night was held in Beijing Crowne Plaza Park View Wuzhou Hotel by Yukon
Government and Sino QZ Group. Dr. Zhou Taihe, the president of Sino QZ Group, hosted this reception.
Minister Jim Kenyon, Economic Development, made welcoming remarks and Canadian Selwyn
Resources Ltd, Yunnan Metallurgical Group and Northwest Nonferrous Geological Exploration Bureau
also made a short introduction of their successful experience of investing in China and oversea mining
projects. Many domestic mining companies attended the reception including fellow Xiao Xuchang, fellow
Li Tingdong, China Nonferrous Metal, China Aluminum Corporation, China National Gold Group, China
Steel Group and etc. |
