2009-2012 Sister-Province Relationship Between Shaanxi Province and Yukon Territory |

| After four years of the Sino-QZ and government officials in China and Canada’s hard work, a milestone in establishment of sister-province relationship between Shaanxi Province, People’s Republic of China and Yukon Territory, Canada has been achieved. In July 2012, Shaanxi Province Governor Zhao Zhengyong accompanied by the Shaanxi government delegation visited Whitehorse, Canada and had a meeting with Honourable David Laxton, Speaker of the Yukon Legilative Assembly and other Yukon government officials.on Sep 18, 2012, Yukon government delegation which led by the premier Honourable Darrell Pasloski visited Shaanxi province and signed the agreement with the governor ZHAO Zhengyong of Shaanxi province on the establishment of sister-province relationship. Dr.Zhou and Sandy Zhu attended this signing ceremony as the special advisor of Yukon economic development department. Both sides were satisfied with the successful cooperation in the fields of mineral exploration and economic development. |
